The Nuggets get thumped 115-95 by the Mavericks in Dallas

Blogged under Bloglockers, Game Recaps, Front Page by alleyoop on Sunday 25 February 2007 at 8:25 am

The Nuggets fell behind 55-39 in the first have and they allowed the Mavericks to shoot 51.1% from the floor as a team and that was too much for them to overcome.  Carmelo Anthony led the way with 34 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals.  Allen Iverson also had a solid game with 26 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.

The Nuggets fell to 26-28 on the season with this loss.  http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=270224006

ok this whole Iverson starting the point and Blake coming off the bench isn’t working out very well. Sure, Iverson’s been playing well but excluding Anthony it’s definately adversely affected most of the other players.

Rachel, I agree with you. The Nuggets need a pure point guard and Steve Blake is more of one than Iverson is. You don’t really want Iverson with the ball in his hands that much because he would much rather shoot it than pass it.
