Nene Hilario has finally stepped up and started to earn his big contract.  Over the last 6 games, Nene has averaged 13.7 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game.  He has really solidified the power forward position for the Nuggets and they need him to keep it up to take the pressure off of Carmelo Anthony and Allen Iverson.

The Nuggets only shot 37.7% from the floor and that did them in last night.  Allen Iverson scored 19 points and dished out 4 assists to lead the way for the Nuggets.  Carmelo Anthony had a horrible shooting night (6 of 21) but he still wound up with 17 points and 7 rebounds.

The Nuggets were playing without Carmelo Anthony last night because he was expecting a child.  Allen Iverson led the way for the Nuggets with 35 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists.  DerMarr Johnson got a rare start and he scored 15 points, grabbed 2 rebounds and blocked 3 shots.

The Nuggets thrashed the Hornets last night as they shot 50.6% from the floor as a team and held the Hornets to 39.1% shooting from the floor.  Allen Iverson led the way for the Nuggets with 25 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists.  Carmelo Anthony also had a solid all-around game with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists.

The Nuggets got outrebounded 51-40 last night by the Rockets and that was a key in their loss.  Carmelo Anthony led the way with 30 points and 7 rebounds.  Allen Iverson also had a decent game with 19 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists.  The problem was the Nuggets didn’t give Anthony and Iverson any help on offense.
