The Nuggets have released reserve point guard Anthony Carter.  Carter only played in 2 games last season for the Nuggets and he averaged 18.5 minutes, 3.0 points, 1.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game.  Carter only shot 37.5% from the floor in the two games for the Nuggets.  The Nuggets won’t miss him as Chucky Atkins will be the starter and Allen Iverson can play point guard if the Nuggets get in a pinch.
