Marcus Camby is stuffing the stat sheet for the Denver Nuggets this season

Marcus Camby is off to an incredible start to the season for the Denver Nuggets. He has played in 15 games so far this season and he is averaging 34.0 minutes, 9.6 points, 14.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.1 steals and 3.5 blocks per game. His energy at both ends of the court infects the Nuggets. They need him to stay healthy this season if they want to go far.

The Nuggets shot 52.5% from the floor in this game and that was a big factor in the ease of the win last night. Carmelo Anthony led the way for the Nuggets with 25 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Allen Iverson also was busy with 20 points, 2 rebounds and 7 assists. Kenyon Martin only played 23 minutes in this game but he still scored 14 points, grabbed 4 rebounds, stole the ball two times and blocked two shots. The Nuggets are now 6-3 on the season.

The Denver Nuggets lose Steven Hunter indefinately

Steven Hunter has underwent surgery on his right knee and he will be out indefinately. Hunter played in only 4 games this season so far and he has averaged 4.8 minutes, 0.8 points and 1.3 rebounds. He likely won’t be missed too much for the Nuggets until he can return to action.

The Nuggets dominated this game because of their hot shooting (55%) from the floor. Allen Iverson was unstoppable with 37 points, 3 rebounds, 8 assists and 2 steals. J.R Smith was unstoppable off of the bench as he scored 29 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished out 4 assists in only 24 minutes on the court. He hit an amazing 7 of 8 three point shots. Carmelo Anthony had a stat sheet stuffer with 22 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals. The Nuggets are now 5-3 on the season.

This game was a tale of two halves. In the first half of the game the Nuggets looked lost as the Pacers ran out to a 74-56 halftime lead. The Nuggets came out of the locker room smoking hot as they outscored the Pacers 57-32 to win the game! Carmelo Anthony led the way for the Nuggets with 32 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Allen Iverson backed Carmelo up with 27 points, 5 rebounds, 10 assists and 3 steals. Linas Kleiza had one of his better games with 21 points and 7 rebounds. Marcus Camby had a stat sheet stuffer with 10 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals and 5 blocked shots. The Nuggets are now 4-3 on the season with this win.
