The Nuggets shot 56.4% from the floor last night and they outrebounded the Magic 43-33, which were big reasons for the nice home win. The Nuggets dominated the second half, outscoring the Magic 57-30 in the second half to slam the door on them! Danilo Gallinari (17 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 blocked shot) and JaVale McGee (17 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocked shots) led the way for the Nuggets last night. Arron Afflalo (15 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists), Ty Lawson (13 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists) and Kenneth Faried (11 points and 10 rebounds) also had solid games last night for the Nuggets. The Nuggets are now 36-28 on the year.

Denver Nuggets 118, Phoenix Suns 107

The Nuggets shot 55.2% from the floor last Saturday Night and it helped them get a solid road win over the Suns. Ty Lawson led the way for the Nuggets in this game with 29 points, 4 rebounds, 10 assists and 1 steal. Arron Afflalo (19 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals) and Kenneth Faried (18 points, 13 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 3 blocked shots) also had rock solid games for the Nuggets. Danilo Gallinari (13 points), JaVale McGee (11 points) and Corey Brewer (10 points) also pitched in for the Nuggets in this game. The Nuggets are now 35-28 on the year.

24-year old center JaVale McGee has not been the force the Nuggets thought they were getting when they dealt Nene to the Wizards at the trade deadline. McGee has played in 16 games (5 starts) for the Nuggets so far this year and he is averaging 20.8 minutes, 9.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 0.4 assists and 1.6 blocked shots per game. McGee has now played in 57 games (45 starts) overall this year for the Nuggets & Wizards and he is averaging 25.6 minutes, 11.1 points, 8.0 rebounds, 0.5 assists and 2.2 blocked shots per game. The Nuggets are going to need McGee to step up his game in the playoffs if they are going to advance past the first round.

The Nuggets were outscored 28-22 in the 4th quarter and it did them in last night. Ty Lawson led the way for the Nuggets with 24 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists and 1 steal. Al Harrington also had a rock solid game with 14 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals in this game. Kenneth Faried, Kosta Koufos, Arron Afflalo and Andre Miller pitched in with 12 points apiece in this game. The Nuggets are now 34-28 on the year.

The Nuggets outlasted the Rockets last night in Houston. Arron Afflalo (26 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists) and Ty Lawson (25 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 1 blocked shot) led the way for the Nuggets. Al Harrington also had a rock solid game off the bench with 15 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assists and 3 steals in 28 minutes on the floor. Danilo Gallinari and Corey Brewer pitched in with 11 points apiece in this game. The Nuggets are now 34-27 on the year.
