Linas Kleiza and Kenyon Martin are steppin’ up for the Denver Nuggets

Linas Kleiza has really played well this season with his increased playing time. Kleiza has played in 30 games this season for the Nuggets and he is averaging 22.6 minutes, 10.7 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game. Look for him to see even more minutes soon if he keeps playing like he is right now. Kenyon Martin appears to be healthy and Coach Karl is doing a good job of limiting his minutes on the court. Martin has played in 25 games this season for the Nuggets and he is averaging 9.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.6 blocked shots per game.

Nuggets V Spurs

Todays game verus the spurs is going to be tough even with JR Smith back in the line up.  San Antonio (25-11) have been struggling of late. But they got back on track with wins over not so crash teams Memphis and Portland. Earl Boykins won’t get as many minutes in this game. He has been a star scoring over 20 points in 8 of the last 9 games. The Denver Nuggets have a chance in this game if they play defense and Iverson and Smith work well together.

Does anybody think there is going to be a trade for Earl Boykins before the trade deadline. I don’t think he’ll have much of a role in the team when Carmelo and JR Smith comes back. He has been palying awesome latly. Him and Iverson work well together.
